Anne Coulter on Trump’s supposed telling the Russians a secret

The big secret Trump allegedly revealed is that Muslims might try to blow up a plane with laptops. I already knew that. I read it in The New York Times.

The New York Times, March 22, 2017:

Devices Banned on Some Planes Over ISIS Fears

“Intelligence showing that the Islamic State is developing a bomb hidden in portable electronics spurred the United States and Britain on Tuesday to bar passengers from airports in a total of 10 Muslim-majority countries from carrying laptop computers … two senior American counterterrorism officials said. …”

This totally secret, Deep Throat-level information has been widely published in thousands of news outlets throughout the civilized world. There was yet another round of stories last week with the update that the U.S. is considering a laptop ban on flights from Europe as well.

Trump met with the Russian Ambassador on 10 May, a full three weeks after the laptop “secret” was headlined in the NYT.

Seriously, the attacks against Trump are bordering on insanity.

Ever watched a rugby game of 7 year olds.  They all just chase the ball wherever it goes. Makes me think of journalists.

The drop the “Trump told the Russians a secret” line but to prove that that is bad for the US someone kicks the ball and they all swarm after it.

It lands near UK PM.

Trying to establish the fact that the incident has prompted fears that the US’ allies may be reluctant to share intelligence with the country in future they question Theresa May but she doesn’t see their point.

Asked whether the reports would make her reluctant to share intelligence with the president, she replied that: “We continue to work with the United States and we continue to share intelligence with the United States, as we do with others around the world.”

The swarm settle and murmer amongst themselves.  Someone else kicks the ball and they all chase after it.  It lands in Israel.

It appears the fact that terrorist were looking to use laptops to blow up planes comes from Israel.  The swarm need to prove that allies hate Trump and won’t trust him anymore with state secrets.

State secrets that were printed in the NYT two odd weeks before the event.

In the wake of the reports, Israeli officials have expressed confidence in the intelligence-sharing relationship.

Tweeting Wednesday morning, Israeli Defense Minister Avigdor Liberman wrote, “The security relationship between Israel and our greatest ally the United States, is deep, significant and unprecedented in volume.”

“This relationship with the US is unprecedented in its contribution to our strength. This is how it has been and how it will continue to be,” Liberman added.

Israeli Minister of Intelligence Israel Katz also weighed in today.

“I have complete confidence in the American intelligence community. Intelligence cooperation between Israel and the United States regarding the threats posed by Iran and its proxies and ISIS and its affiliates will continue and deepen,” Katz said.

No joy there either.

And none here.

Even Democrat Nancy Pelosi warns the Trump666 crowd to get real.

At a CNN town hall Monday evening, Mrs. Pelosi warned Democrats pushing the impeachment of President Trump and said if they can’t make the case they shouldn’t even suggest the idea.

“In other words, again, if you are talking about impeachment, you are talking about what are the facts. Not that I don’t like him and I don’t like his hair and — what are the facts?” she said. “What are the facts that you would make a case on? What are the rules that he may have violated? If you don’t have that case you are just participating in more hearsay.”

No worries, the scrum return to the centre and someone again kicks the ball

They all chase after it like the swarm of 7 year olds they are and they just keep chasing it until something else come up.

Like this alarming fact.

At the White House he gets two scoops of ice cream while every one else gets only one.

Seriously

  • The Pope met Trump on his yacht. His hat blew off and landed in the water. Trump walked across the water and retrieved the hat. The Pope was astounded. The main stream media headline “TRUMP CAN’T SWIM”

  • “In the wake of the reports, Israeli officials have expressed confidence in the intelligence-sharing relationship.”

Maybe these “officials” should listen to Mossad – http://www.deathandtaxesmag.com/330852/israeli-intelligence-officials-shouted-at-u-s-colleagues-after-trumps-leak/

He finds it necessary to big note himself in front of the Russians. Fatty 5D* has all the leadership attributes of a pre-pubescent schoolboy.

*Trump was deferred five times in the draft for Vietnam. Mueller (a decorated ex-marine) will have his measure – http://time.com/4784779/special-counsel-robert-mueller-trump-russia-investigation/

    • President Dumbfuck…….Trump’s giant mouth – yeah right. Not only is Deathandtaxes virulently anti Trump it is also low grade journalism. But I know you’re OK with that.

It’s easy to find media references pointing out how bad Trump is but then the media are anti anything that smacks of patriotism, secure borders, small government, laissez faire policies, low taxes, etc, etc.

They are culpable in damaging US interests in their insane pursuit of Trump and they simply won’t accept that he won the election – their pain is my pleasure.

Quoting two ex Mossad guys doesn’t make it a fact that Trump is President Dumbfuck. Mossad, like all agencies, has it’s left and right operatives. It will be the Israeli governments response that matters.

Anyway, having the Russians inside the tent is a reasonable idea.

You should stick to US media or simply quote the Democrats. At least they don’t resort to childish abuse.

      President Dumbfuck. FFS mate.

  • You continually have a shot at Trump for being deferred 5 times. I am at a loss to understand why. I would have thought he would have hero status with you as you were deferred once , and then tried everything to get out. You wrote to your CO, member of parliament and probably went crying to daddy. None of that helped.
Maybe you are just that much of a failure that you need to keep on pointing out Trumps victory.

  • I agree, calling him President Dumbfuck is a bit over the top. He is as cunning as an outhouse rat, when it comes to his interpretation of the truth, and his capacity to tell his audience what they want to hear when they want to hear it. He’d make an excellent sideshow spruiker or snake oil salesman.
    Look at the record –
Trump on Twitter in 2015 – “Many people are saying it was wonderful that Mrs Obama refused to wear a scarf in Saudi Arabia, but they were insulted. We have enuf enemies’
Today – Melania Trump and Ivanka Trump exposed their hair, as had Michelle Obama, Angela Merkel and Theresa May.
Obama as President wouldn’t use the term “radical Islamic terrorism” because he said he didn’t want to connect terrorist groups like Islamic State to the religion of Islam and said it would unnecessarily anger Arab allies fighting terrorism and alienate Muslims at home. Trump criticised him non-stop for this.
Today – Trump avoided the phrase “radical Islamic terrorism” in his major speech in front of more than 50 leaders of Arab and Muslim-majority countries.
Trump said in a March 2016 interview with CNN that “I think Islam hates us”, adding “there’s a tremendous hatred there”. He called for surveillance of mosques and a proposal to ban all foreign Muslims from entering the US.
Today – Trump said in his speech in Riyadh that “young Muslim boys and girls should be able to grow up free from fear, safe from violence, and innocent of hatred. And young Muslim men and women should have the chance to build a new era of prosperity for themselves and their peoples”. Suddenly Islam is the religion of peace and prosperity.
In a June 2016 Facebook post, Trump said: “Saudi Arabia and many of the countries that gave vast amounts of money to the Clinton Foundation want women as slaves and to kill gays. Hillary must return all money from such countries”.
But the Saudis being generous with their dosh now is suddenly OK. The World Bank announced yesterday at an event with Trump’s daughter Ivanka that Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates had pledged $US100m ($134m) for the bank’s proposed Women Entrepreneurs Fund, as proposed by Ivanka.
Trump suggested in a Facebook post they were behind the September 11 terror attacks. “Who blew up the World Trade Centre?” he asked on Fox News. “It wasn’t the Iraqis, it was Saudi — take a look at Saudi Arabia, open the documents,” he said.
Now they’re his new best friends.
When I encountered Yanks in Vietnam (and in my travels since) I learned pretty quickly that a fair proportion are naïve. As we used to say in 1970 – You can tell them anything – sell them anything. Obviously, that hasn’t changed. Trump knows the minority who voted for him well. They are a minority – 58% of voters turned out and only 26% of them endorsed Trump. 74% of eligible American voters did not support him.
He also lost the popular vote.
He knows very well that many of this minority, with the help of Fox News and Trump’s paid-off media have the concentration span of goldfish, and forget what he said yesterday.
When you elect a clown, you’ll always get a circus.

  • “Trump’s daughter Ivanka that Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates had pledged $US100m ($134m) for the bank’s proposed Women Entrepreneurs Fund, as proposed by Ivanka.”

So what? She will not control or profit from the money. Unlike the Clintons

“Today – Trump avoided the phrase “radical Islamic terrorism” in his major speech in front of more than 50 leaders of Arab and Muslim-majority countries.”

    He said “islamist” and more.

“When I encountered Yanks in Vietnam (and in my travels since) I learned pretty quickly that a fair proportion are naïve.”

Really!! Such a small sample. I suppose you believe all Muslims are terrorist.

I resist defending Trump normally but if he’s inexperienced (certainly), incompetent(debatable). I want at the vary least for him to make things worse.

But you 1735099, In your blind irrational hatred, aligning yourself with Democrat and Republican neo-cons trying to provoke a conflict with Russia and hoping Trump destabilizes the middle east more just to say I told you so. Make’s you one of the most despicable persons Iv come across on the internet.

    • “So what? She will not control or profit from the money.”

Take another look at what Trump actually said about donating money to the Saudis –

“Saudi Arabia and many of the countries that gave vast amounts of money to the Clinton Foundation want women as slaves and to kill gays”.

He wasn’t ranting about what happened to the money, or who donated it. He was saying that the Saudis enslave women and kill gays. Suddenly they’re worthy of a donation from Ivanka Trump, when they weren’t from the Clinton Foundation. That was a quick and remarkable transformation. Are we to believe that women in the Kingdom of Saud are suddenly emancipated, and gays are tolerated, just because they were donated money by the Trumps?

“He said “islamist” and more” – but he studiously avoided conflating “Islamic” with “terrorism”. Read the speech again.

“Really!! Such a small sample. I suppose you believe all Muslims are terrorist (sic)”.

No, because that’s not the truth. A very small minority are.
The Muslim population in Australia was 476,291 people at the census, or 2.2% of the total. Of that number, Numan Haider, Man Monis, Farhad Khalil Mohammad Jabar and Ihsas Khan have carried out terrorist attacks in this country. If you also count those claiming to be Muslim, arrested and convicted of planning terrorism, you get a total of around 25 all up. Now 25/476000 is about .005%.
How quickly we forget. It’s interesting to trace terrorism in Australia since the early seventies –
      1. Sydney Yugoslav General Trade and Tourist Agency bombing (1972) – 16 injured – committed by Croatian separatists.
      2. Sydney Hilton Hotel bombing (1978) – 2 killed – 11 injured – believed to have been committed by Ananda Marga.
      3. Sydney Turkish Consul General assassination (1980) – 2 killed – Justice Commandos for the Armenian Genocide claimed responsibility.
      4. 1980s, West Australian neo-Nazi group “The Australian Nationalist Movement”, led by Jack van Tongeren, bombed Asian restaurants and businesses to intimidate the Asian population. Van Tongeren was eventually imprisoned until his release in the early-mid 2000s. He resumed his activities and was re-arrested in 2004 as part of Operation Atlantic.
      5. 1982 – Sydney Israeli Consulate and Hakoah club bombings – Palestinian militants blamed – single arrest, but charges subsequently dropped.
      6. Melbourne Turkish consulate bombing (1986) – bomber killed – Sydney Armenian accomplice arrested and convicted – served 10 years.
      7. 1995- bombing of the French Consulate in Perth – Pacific Popular Front (falsely) claimed responsibility – 2 arrested and jailed.
      8. 2001 – East Melbourne Family Planning clinic attack – 1 killed (security guard) – Peter James Knight convicted and sentenced to life imprisonment.
      9. 2009 – Holsworthy Barracks terror plot – 5 individuals connected with the Somali-based terrorist group al-Shabaab convicted and jailed.
      10. 2014 – Endeavour Hills stabbings – Numan Haider stabbed 2 counter terrorism officers before being shot.
      11. 2014 – Sydney hostage crisis – Man Monis killed 1 hostage, another died from injuries inflicted by ballistic fragments – Monis claimed to represent ISIS before he was killed.
      12. 2015 Parramatta shooting – 15 year old Farhad Khalil Mohammad Jabar, an Iraqi-Kurd, shot dead Curtis Cheng. Jabar claimed to be acting in sympathy with ISIS.
      13. 2016 Minto stabbing attack: A 22-year-old man apparently inspired by Islamic State stabbed a man before being arrested and charged with attempted murder. He also incurred minor injuries on a nearby shop owner.
In summary then, there have been thirteen terrorist incidents since 1972. Five have been inspired, or claim to have been inspired, by ISIS. If you asked the average punter, he/she would probably be conscious only of the incidents involving Muslims. Aided by the likes of Bolt and Blair, and dipshits like Hanson, ISIS have done a very good job of winding up the media.

“I want at the vary (sic) least for him to make things worse”.

This defies logic. Worse than what?

“But you 1735099, In your blind irrational hatred, aligning yourself with Democrat and Republican neo-cons trying to provoke a conflict with Russia and hoping Trump destabilizes the middle east more just to say I told you so. Make’s (sic) you one of the most despicable persons Iv (sic) come across on the internet.”

I don’t “align” with anyone. I just call bullshit when I see it. The current POTUS has a very casual relationship with the truth.
Nor do I “hate”. As Graham Greene said – “Hate is a lack of imagination”.

As for “despicable” – reminds me of something Trump’s rival called those who supported him – “deplorables” wasn’t it?
Labeling is a poor substitute for reason.

  • “Trump knows the minority who voted for him well. They are a minority – 58% of voters turned out and only 26% of them endorsed Trump. 74% of eligible American voters did not support him.
He also lost the popular vote.”

What’s with 1735099 repeating the same talking points?

    1: A sign of senility.
    2: a sign of TDS.
3: a desperate but futile attempt at relevance.
    5: paid by Soros.
6: A hope in repeating often it will go unchallenged.

    • I have been looking on here to see a reply to that Gary, but he seems to have met his match at last.
      Good on you.

    • “A hope in repeating often it will go unchallenged”
Have a go at challenging the fact that Trump is not supported by the majority of American voters.
By the way, I learned a very long time ago, both as a teacher, and as a Nasho, to ignore personal abuse……

  • Quantity does not always equal quality comrade, 1735099.

  • “Have a go at challenging the fact that Trump is not supported by the majority of American voters.”

I have never disputed Clinton got more votes. BTW she rightfully admonished Trump for not accepting the process. It would be tragic but she is making a lot of money from doing the same, you on the other hand….

“What “personal abuse” have I “dished out” to anyone commenting on this thread.? I disagree – I don’t abuse. Commentary is about debate – not abuse.”

I’m pretty sure there is plenty but its more your long meandering posts designed to provoke such reactions.

Not going to follow you down the rabbit hole again (I have life). If you think its victory, It makes no difference to me.

  • Well said Gary..

  • A bit of buyer’s remorse on the part of carrier’s employees who were silly enough to believe Trump – http://www.newyorker.com/news/news-desk/what-its-like-to-get-laid-off-at-the-carrier-plant-trump-said-hed-save
