Poor Habib

Poor Habib has developed emotional and psychological problems from his imprisonment. During his imprisonment others have suffered slit throats, dismemberment by suicide bombing and beheading for minor crimes. Not long before his imprisonment thousands of poor souls suffered a senseless death in New York where Habib’s mates visited hell on the innocents. His American lawyer, Joe Margulies needs to fish somewhere else for sympathy. There isn’t any here.

  • I think the pertinent point being that his imprisonment was not justified, was illegal and encompassed privations which you yourself accept as having happened. Senseless accusations of involvement in islamic fundamentalism, terrorism and foreign wars prove nothing other than the discriminatory mindset of the individual making them.

  • Not so, Niall.

The imprisonment of people fighting or barracking for the other side and holding them until the conflict is over or their potential danger dimished, has long been an established tactic of war.

You may call them ‘senseless accusations’ but thankfully those who manage and lead us, don’t.

sort of like calling a fellow Australian of Vietnamese ethnicity a slimy, slitty eyed gook?

  • With all this rant on our ABC about ‘poor’ Hahib, I wonder why it is not questioned how a man who retains his Eygptian citizenship is able to be an Australian citizen.
The Ozzie taxpayers have been suppporting this family for far too long and the question remains- how whilst he was on Social security was he able to affort to fly to Pakistan and Afghanistan to inspect Islamic ‘boarding’ schools for his sons? and why would he send his sons to such places if he came to Australia to escape persecution???
It strikes me that he was planning to send his sons to Islamic terror training camps and that wife of his would be a credit to the 3rd Reich!

It stand out a mile that he was here to set up islamic cells and I think he and all his ‘loved ones should be sent back to Egypt- we don’t need him nor his kind.
I would chip in to send him back.

  • I wonder exactly what his basis for compensation could possibly be? And Naill, I guess like the rest of your kind, you are happy to have him free, but not in your neighbourhood, right?
